Destination Indian Wedding in Seteais Palace Sintra, Portugal

Sintra, summer 2016. From a morning sunshine to noon heavy showers and cloudy afternoon, this Atlantic mountain is the range of a thousand moods. And the light was beautiful.

We were most fortunate to take part of the exotic and intense Mitsu & Kunal´s Indian Wedding. They had their wedding celebrated in Sintra and London, and brought their families and friends along to this gorgeous venue, with all the romantic charm that Tivoli Seteais Palace in Sintra has to offer. We had a great time, and been treated so well by the family and friends. It was magical!

This story starts the day before the wedding, with a Welcome dinner in Tivoli Sintra and a magnificent sunset by the balcony…

“Some of you might still be wondering how, why we gathered you all here in Sintra. We visited Sintra after I proposed. After I convinced Mitsu that Portugal had more to offer that sitting on a park bench taking in the sun, and dragged her over to Sintra! We stumbled through Seteais and I joked Mitsu that we should get married here. Few emails later, we were back in Sintra with our parents looking at venues. Our first stop: Seteais. It almost felt like fate, we weren’t interested at seeing any other venue after that.”
