Creative Wedding photography in Coconuts Cascais

E hoje começamos a semana em beleza, com este retrato especial da Joana e o Bruno, que casaram este Maio no Coconuts e Farol Hotel Design em Cascais.

No nosso estilo de fotografar um Casamento, podemos dizer que grande parte do dia estamos em modo fotojornalismo. Reagir ao momento e à verdade dos acontecimentos e emoções!

Mas há um outro lado que gostamos de praticar na nossa fotografia. Esse lado é a fotografia criativa, e aqui, trabalhamos ideias, no sentido de conseguir a foto que concebemos na nossa mente. As propriedades de um local, a luz, uma pose suave, um momento de emocionante, é tudo isto combinado que procuramos na nossa direção criativa.

É assim o retrato que trazemos hoje. A parede tem a luz apenas suficiente para lhe dar a textura, o espelho está iluminado pelo reflexo de uma luz azul de projetor, que simultaneamente, dá luz ao fundo desfocado; a Joana e o Bruno recebem uma luz direcionada, e por fim… é o momento dos noivos que faz a foto!

We´re presenting a portrait from our last wedding shot at Coconuts / Farol Hotel Design in Cascais. Here we have Joana & Bruno, that got married last May.

In our style of shooting a wedding, we can say that much of the day we are in photojournalism mode. Reacting to the moment with the sense of truth to the events and emotions!

Though, there´s another side we like to introduce in our photography. Creative photo shootings, where we put our ideias come to life, to get results we concept in our minds. The attributes from a certain location, the light, smooth posing, emotional moments, it all comes together in our creative direction.

Such is the picture we bring today. The wall has just enough light to bring textures out, the mirror reflects the blue from a light source pointed at the opposite blurred background, and Joana & Bruno, they get the main light source, as they finally, speak to the moment, this image comes to life!

E para aprimorar aqui o nosso post, dois retratos a preto e branco. E se no primeiro retrato, temos a noiva contemplativa, envolvida em branco, momento intemporal; no segundo, o contraponto em modo fotojornalismo, o momento que simplesmente aconteceu, estávamos lá, e é essa a nossa interpretação…

And to improve our post, we´re presenting two pictures in black and white. And if in this first picture, we have the contemplative bride, wrapped in white, timeless moment; in the second one, the counterpoint in a photojournalism way, the moment that just happened, we were there, and this is our interpretation …

Para finalizar, uma foto completamente diferente… feita no mesmo momento da foto acima! Resume bem, estes dois lados da fotografia, criativa vs. fotojornalismo. E dois fotógrafos com uma interpretação muito diferente desde mesmo momento!

We´re finishing this post with something different… though the following photo was shot at the same time than the black & white portrait above! Such are the differences between the creative vs. photojournalism: and two photographers, Hélio and Marco, had different interpretations of this very same moment.
